Tempting His Mate
***ARC received through Netgalley***"Tempting his mate" was a quick paranormal romance with shifters I enjoyed reading. It was short and nice but the part with her sister Eve at the end was a little too much for me, and I could have done without. However, I really appreciated the main characters Ella and Asher.
Asher is a really nice guy who has a possessive and protective attitude toward the heroine, but he isn't just an Alpha kind-of-werewolf since he has insecurities too about failing her. Ella is a jaguar shifter and after leaving her tribe because of her sister, she has a one night stand with a hot man, who also happen to be in her new pack. After that, they'll be around each other until they give up fighting their lust for each other.
You could really feel their chemistry. It is definitely a sexy and easy novella you can read in a few hours. The author tried to add some suspense into the story with the person who trashed Ella's office, I wasn't that much intrigued by it because I was more focused on the romance but it was fine since there was less than 100 pages.
