Predatory

It was nice to have four short paranormal stories from different authors in a book. I liked it but I didn't LOVE it. Sometimes I had a hard time to finish one story and start with another. I couldn't read it in one shot and had to take some time to finish it.
I wish the first story "Out of control" was longer. I liked that the heroine was one of the 'freaks' like Nikolo and that she was able to manipulate cells even if she didn't really know what she's doing. The "woman" (I don't even know if I can call it that) who wanted to use her for her own benefits was really creeping me out. My imagination has its limits and I can't even imagine what her face looks like...But it's probably better to not know ;).
I liked the second story better ("Ties that bind"), I was hooked with her humour and I felt like I was Cassie in that creepy place at the very beginning. The end was too fast, there were still questions unanswered and I wanted to know more about it!
In the third one "In still darkness", I liked Sheldon (he was funny) but Jenna was annoying sometimes (like when she insists it's only the flu even if Robert know what the situation really is). It was a nice read :).
The fourth story, "High stakes" take place during a fashion contest. The vampire was a woman (it seems like the vampires are mostly men in books) So there is a murderer and Nina try to find out what's going on when she appears to be the suspect number 1 but she could also be the next victim. With her, there is the mysterious Pike and he's keeping secrets on his own too. Nina will only found out about them at the very end of the book.
Predatory is a nice read introducing you to different short paranormal stories :).
